Nutrition for Medical Conditions
After working at the Cancer Center in Flagstaff, Arizona for 5 years, Caroline knew she wanted to continue this work as an Oncology Dietitian. She saw how impactful proper nutrition helped her patients before, during, and after treatment. While different cancer diagnoses can bring varying symptoms, better nutrition can bring such a positive impact.
Caroline started her career as an Inpatient Dietitian at Flagstaff Medical Center where she saw patients suffering from diabetes, heart failure, brain injuries, malnutrition, end stage liver disease, kidney disease, inflammatory bowel disease, conditions requiring parenteral and enteral nutrition, etc. While this gave her the experience she craved as a newly registered dietitian, her time with these patients was limited.
All of this experience has led her to her current role. She now has the opportunity to spend quality time with each client to offer more nutrition resources, knowledge, and compassion.
